We provide long distance courier serviced across the UK a we are seeking an experienced long distance courier driver to join our team.

This position is initially offered on a temporary basis and is for weekends only - the hours of work would be Friday - Saturday with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

You will be travelling the length and breadth of the country each week delivering all manner of items from tables, sofas, mattresses, beds, flat-pack furniture as well as antiques and large retro furniture such as sideboards, wardrobed and everything in between.

Customers are always fully informed of the fact that there will be 1 person present to deliver the item.

Where help is required, we will send out a 2-person delivery team and this will provide the opportunity to gain additional overtime.

We operate 12 hours shifts starting at 5:30am with a maximum of 10 hours driving per shift.

There would be up to 2 overnight stays per weekend with paid hotels and meal allowances.

You would be required to work every weekend on this shift pattern. Overtime will be available when 2-person deliveries are requested and to cover holidays and sickness etc.

This role would be ideally suited for someone who enjoys being on the open road but who can also deal with heavy lifting and challenging customers.

We are looking for an immediate start.

Due to our insurance requirements, we cannot consider any driver under the age of 30 or who has more than 6 points on their licence.

All vehicles are fitted with trackers and dashcam and you will be required to adhere to company driving policies.
