Are you an experienced major donor fundraiser with a passion for enabling more young people to find their purpose and reach their potential?OnSide is a growing national youth charity, now looking for a Senior Philanthropy Manager based within commutable distance of Bristol.
- Salary: £4552k_
- Hybrid working: remote from home, South Bristol office (minimum 1 day) and regular meetings with prospects and supporters_

OnSide funds, builds, launches and supports a network of state-of-the-art, multimillion-pound Youth Zones in the UK's most economically disadvantaged areas.
OnSide creates unique partnerships between young people and their community, local authorities and business leaders, with a growing movement of supporters.
Working in partnership with local charity Youth Moves, south Bristol's brand-new Youth Zone will follow OnSide's tried and tested revenue funding model.
Starting with a commitment of support from the Local Authority, we are now ready to focus on securingmajor gifts from high-net-worth individuals and local companies to cover the first four years' operating costs.
This is an active major gift fundraising role, responsible for creating a family of approx. 34 Founder Patrons who will each commit to four yearsof donations at £25,000 p.a. or higher.To get up and running in this unique philanthropy role, you can expect to:
- Develop a nuanced understanding of the Youth Zone offer, including how and when to involve Board members, the CEO, existing Youth Zones and young people in fundraising.
- Research and identify individual and corporate supporters to create an accurate picture of the fundraising potential.
- Develop a case for support for a Founder Patron campaign, tailoring it to individuals and companies.
- Achieve a small but defined set of key performance indicators, including activity targets relating to engaging, cultivating and asking donors for support.
- Have the support and mentorship of a community of highly skilled and experienced Senior Philanthropy Managers.
To apply, you'll need proven experience and track-record of personally securing five-figure gifts (ideally £25k+) from donors through face-to-face meetings or transferable experience, including but not limited to, senior business development, account managementor sales.
