    Experienced Accounts Assistant


    Location:
    Redcar


    Salary:
    £24,000 - £27,000 (Dependent upon experience)

    Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a dynamic role within a successful company? Look no further We are currently seeking a skilled individual to join a supportive and friendly finance team.

    Responsibilities:

    Send payment remittances to suppliers.
    Set up supplier and customer accounts on SAGE.
    Maintain up-to-date filing systems.
    Provide payroll cover for holidays and sickness.
    Reconcile credit cards and manage the accounts inbox.
    Register and match purchase invoices onto the Sage system.
    Resolve invoice queries promptly and efficiently.
    Enter payments into the company banking system.
    Perform monthly purchase statement reconciliations.
    Collate monthly payment runs and process supplier payments.
    Conduct bank reconciliations.

    Key Skills:


    Attention to detail:
    Accuracy is crucial in financial processes.

    Excellent communication skills:
    Ability to interact effectively with colleagues and suppliers.

    Outstanding organisational abilities:
    Keep track of multiple tasks and deadlines.
    Previous experience/knowledge of Sage accounts and Excel: Familiarity with these tools is preferable.
