About the Role


MJ Church is excited to be looking for a Project Health, Safety, Environment & Training Co-ordinator, to join our growing team, reporting directly to the Project HSE Lead.

This role will be project based at the Heads of Valleys in South Wales. The project is managed by our Earthworks Business Unit.


This is an exciting role to join an enthusiastic and energetic team, one who works collectively within a business support function, to excel in what we do.

The role present scope for further development within the business.


Responsibilities

  • Work independently or in a team to meet specific requirements;
  • Monitor and track inspection and audits, inclusive of close out requirement;
  • Monitor and track; accidents, incidents and near miss reporting information;
  • Monitor outstanding observations and safety alerts/ Toolbox talks;
  • Assist with the extraction of specific KPI's for reporting functions;
  • Collate statutory returns from MJ Church project team and our supply chain;
  • Assist with company induction process;
  • Conduct Employee Consultations, where required;
  • Record and Monitor KPI performance in line with business and contract requirements;
  • Work closely with our supply chain and clients where required;
  • Organise/conduct training for personnel on the project.

  • Well organised;
  • Can think on their feet, taking strategic and calculated decisions;
  • IT Skills [Excel, Powerbi, Word etc];
  • Full UK Driving license.

Desirable

  • Administrator experience;
  • Training experience.

Salary:
£25,000.00 per year
