The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.


Summary of position:


As a pivotal member of the dynamic HR team, the HR Business Partner plays a crucial role in offering guidance and support to functional leadership within the Landing Gear Market division.

This position is instrumental in delivering precise and timely reporting on HR-related statistics and data.


Main responsibilities:


  • Lead the implementation of a new HRIS platform in collaboration with other HDI locations.
  • Address daily HR inquiries and concerns.
  • Line manager responsibility for Recruitment & Onboarding Advisor
  • Maintain essential recruitment metrics, including turnover and retention rates.
  • Utilize HR information systems for data entry, retrieval, and compilation.
  • Manage the HR corporate database and generate HR payroll reports.
  • Offer guidance to operational managers on employeerelated matters.
  • Provide advice on longterm sickness and coordinate with Health and Safety and occupational health departments as necessary.
  • Assist in managing Grievance and Disciplinary procedures and maintain HRrelated Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • CIPD Level 7 certification or a Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Preferably with experience in manufacturing/aviation industries.

Experience and skills:

  • Proficiency in maintaining and developing HR systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to present information effectively and address inquiries from managers, team leaders, and employees.
  • Exceptional communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Proactive approach to work with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Track record of seeking process improvements.
  • Selfmotivated with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
