Sales Progressor
Full-time. Permanent.
Job Purpose

To provide an efficient and professional service by progressing agreed sales through to successful exchange and completion and to ensure that these are achieved in line with monthly targets and other agreed timelines.


Coach and develop sales staff as required to ensure timelines are met and a professional service is always provided in line with the company's ethos, values and culture.

Primary Responsibilities


  • Responsibility for booking viewings, valuations and client appointments
  • The progressing of all property sales ensuring contact is maintained regularly with buyers; sellers; mortgage brokers; solicitors; surveyors and other estate agents; in accordance with standard operating procedures
  • Identifying and resolving any problems with property sales ensuring there is no barrier to meeting exchange and completion deadlines; ensuring all sale progressors are consistently and accurately working towards set exchange and completion targets, therefore maintaining high conversion rates
  • Ensure systems are updated in line with standard operating procedures and all other office administration is undertaken to the required standard
  • Ensure achievement of referrals to third parties with active cross selling to meet targets
  • Provide timely feedback on progress with sales progression as directed by the Managing Director, continually reviewing progress with sales and identifying and solving problems which affect sales performance
  • Continually review & improve sale progression standard procedures with the aim of improving the overall quality, efficiency and/or turnaround of sales
  • Maintain an efficient and effective document storage system
  • Purchase of all materials required for the office at competitive prices ensuring quality and delivery to the highest standards
  • Ensuring that office equipment is operating efficiently and is available.
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety requirements are being adhered to.
  • Contribute ideas for the successful running of the business
  • Any other reasonable task that will aid the running of the business

Hours of work:
Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm with flexibility required during busy periods, holiday cover and sickness cover.
