Regional Employee Relations Advisor - South West

Hybrid working - 1 day a week in the local office and approximately 2 days a month travel to offices in SW

Paying up to 34k

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking an experienced HR Professional, with experience managing a large ER caseload including high risk, complex cases, to join a leading UK private sector business.

This role is predominately home based, with travel expected in the South West region.


The role:


  • Work with the ER team supporting ER Queries from both management and employees.
  • Manage own ER caseload including high risk, complex cases
  • Providing advice on employment law and company policies and procedures.
  • Provide support and advice to managers on short
- and long-term absence, including attending sickness absence reviews, welfare and capability review meetings.

  • Providing advice to managers and coaching on referrals and subsequent actions.
  • Advising and coaching managers on the discipline and grievance process in accordance with company procedures including dismissal cases.
  • Using and updating case management systems
  • Collaborate with senior level stakeholders supporting them with complex cases

What we are looking for?

  • Knowledge in ER and current employment law knowledge essential
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and attending case hearings, providing advice and support on the hearing process and policy issue, while taking appropriately detailed meeting notes
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels
  • Experience supporting manage to resolve a large range of employment issues
  • Proactive with the ability to multitask
  • CIPD qualified desirable but not essential
  • MS office skills.
