My client is a local manufacturer and are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join their team.
As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining the availability of sub-components required to manufacture products, whilst optimising theinventory across the network.
Supply Chain Analyst - Job Role:
- You will work closely with the supply base to manage and secure schedule adherence for all sub-component production orders. This will include the close management of ETA's and the prioritisation of critical parts across your designated supplier portfolio.
- You will work collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis to achieve the optimum availability of subcomponents.
- You will be accountable for the full management of a defined portfolio of suppliers, ensuring the consistent flow of material and supplier delivery (OTIF) in line with supply schedules.
- Managing the updates of systems and reports to ensure they present and reflect accurate and uptodate components delivery statuses.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers to agree on and confirm production and delivery schedules.
- Identify and address exceptions highlighted by Niftylift's KPI's and planning reports.
- Daily communication with all internal stakeholders, proving an accurate profile of subcomponent supply.
- Interface with Sales and Logistics to address daily critical shortages.
- Support all NPD launches and Phase In / Phase Out changes by ensuring the Supply Chain is ready to support
- Collaborate with suppliers to implement integration initiatives such as planning, forecasting, and replenishment. This includes direct shipments, logistics integration, and cooperative SLA's.
- Ensuring that processes and procedures are compliant, effective, and up to date.
- Proactive highlighting of supply chain challenges to the Purchasing Team, whilst providing proposals to aid mitigation and recovery.
- Liaise with Logistics management and Purchasing management to aid and develop appropriate supply strategies.
Supply Chain Analyst - Person Requirements:
- General knowledge of Engineering, Manufacturing processes, and Supply Chain AND Material Management.
- Ability to analyze data, to evaluate component supply concerns and supply chain projects.
- Ability to understand complex requirement schedules and interpret into manufacturing requirements.
- Ability to escalate to senior personnel at suppliers as appropriate.
- Basic knowledge of Import / Export / Customs requirements is preferable.
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Systems and Tools.
- Clean driving license. Prepared to travel the UK and abroad to assess / support the Supply base.
