Our client is a successful multi disciplined engineering consultancy with a wide and varied workload. They have an excellent reputation in the region and are now looking to make several key appointments.

Infrastructure Design Engineer - Norwich

They seek engineer responsible for civil engineering and pre-planning projects. The candidate will be a strong communicator (both verbal and written) and have technical experience on a wide variety of projects including commercial and residential schemes. The expanding team requires support and leadership from a candidate with a depth of infrastructure knowledge. The successful candidate will be responsible for initial design of drainage, transport infrastructure and utilities provision in the main. The overarching support from the existing team will help the candidate expand their knowledge whilst leading projects to develop their career. You will be responsible for delivery of utilities enquiries and new connection therefore an experience of this type of provision is essential. In addition the preparation of drainage and highway design schemes for planning purposes is also very desirable.

To assist their current and future clients you will be conducting calculations, designs, specifications, project management, drawings, report and site surveys to produce the quality product that our clients expect. You are likely to have at least an HNC/HND or equivalent or a degree in an engineering discipline, with severalyears experience. In addition, a working knowledge of UK Codes of Practice, Design Standards and Health & Safety is essential. Computer based knowledge of AutoCad and Mircrodrainage is very much preferred.
