    Description

    To hold a Level & CIPD qualification or have equivalent work experience.

    Experience and Skills:

    Significant generalist experience across a range of HR functions

    (Resourcing & Recruitment, Employee Relations, HR Casework, Policy, Information Systems and Administration), Policy Development

    • Ability to build relationships with managers to influence, support and advise
    • Able to write complex reports and letters
    • Able to analyse complex data and make recommendations for appropriate action
    • Possess relevant knowledge of Employment Law and its application.
    • Experience of managing own workload by delivering several different tasks at once and meeting tight deadlines.
    • Experience of using Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, Outlook and bespoke HR systems
    • Experience of working with the trade unions and fostering good working relationships
    • Ability to deal with matters in a confidential and discreet manner and compliance with Data Protection requirements.
    • Use initiative, develop and contribute ideas to improve processes and working
    • Ability to deliver successful projects to agreed timescales
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong self awareness and emotional intelligence
    • Ability to interpret policies and apply them in a fair and equitable manner.
    • Demonstrate high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Have an understanding of equality and diversity applicable to the role
    • Experience of delivering results in challenging circumstances
    • Experience of coaching and developing leaders
    • Experience of business partnering and delivering the wide range of BP role, covering reward, attraction, culture development and leadership development
