    Job summary

    An exciting opportunity has a risen for a Cancer MDM coordinator to join a dynamic team. Ideally you will have experience of working unsupervised and you will possess sound interpersonal skills including excellent communication, clerical, customer service and organisational skills.

    You will have an aptitude for data and information, preferably with an NHS background and experience of using Allscripts and other hospital systems / applications but training will be provided. You will be responsible for the tracking of cancer pathways / coordinating the MDM team meetings and ensuring that person centered care is delivered in a timely and professional manner and work to deadlines in line with local and national requirements.

    Main duties of the job

    You will possess sound interpersonal skills including excellent communication, clerical, customer service and organisational skills.

    The post requires you to be able to organise and co-ordinate a wide range of tasks within tight timescales in an effective professional manner. To work under pressure, show initiative and play an important role in the effective organisation of MDMs and cancer compliance.

    Qualifications and training

  • 5 GCES's equivalent including Maths and English
  • Desirable

  • Must be able to demonstrate a good educational background
