Vacancy Description

An exciting opportunity is available for an Administrator to join West Berkshire Council's new Customer Engagement and Transformation Team.

The Council has ambitious plans to transform services through innovative new projects and programmes.

This role will be integral to these ambitions, providing administrative and business support to both Project and Programme Managers within the Transformation and Programme Team.

The post holder will need to work flexibly, be organised and efficient, ensuring professional and timely delivery of service. The post holder should also be creative and enthusiastic about working in an innovative way. The post holder will be dealing with sensitive information on occasion which needs to be handled with discretion. Accuracy is very important.

You must also be confident and capable of working under significant pressure and to tight deadlines on a number of projects at the same time.


On occasion you the post holder may work directly with senior elected members and officers across the Council, so must be confident in negotiating timelines and resourcing issues.
