Description

This role will suit someone with a genetic computational background wanting to gain experience in high-performance compute and systems development and support.


This is a unique opportunity to work with world leading clinical trial managers, scientists, and data engineers in making data within the ODAP usable and accessible.

The post duration is fixed term for 6 months initially, with the possibility of extension.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns.

We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working either at the Roslin Institute or the Pandemic Science Hub (PSH) at the new Institute of Regeneration and Repair.


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Degree educated in a relevant discipline such as data science, software development, genomics, or bioinformatics.
  • Experience of coding in Python or R
