Personalisation Operative

Location:
Sunderland

Salary:
£10.42ph

The role:


Working as part of a team to ensure the timely enclosing of customer documents to client specifications in accordance with production schedules to meet or exceed customer mailing dates and follow process.


Main Duties:


  • Operating the enclosing machines efficiently.
  • Have the ability to operate all enclosing equipment in accordance with customer specifications and works instructions
  • Ensure appropriate type and volume of required items ordered and loaded onto relevant machines in accordance with customer specifications and works instructions
  • Ensure set up and enclose of all documentation to customer specifications
  • Carry out regular quality checks throughout the processes ensuring 100% accuracy against customer specifications
  • Ensure all unused materials are returned to the warehouse in accordance with warehousing and stock return procedures.
  • Carry out general daily maintenance to all enclosing machines, supporting call out engineers in any additional maintenance and repairs to printers are required.
  • Responsible for diagnosing and assessing the need for escalating an issue to on call engineers and to Operations Manager.

Skills/Experience:


  • Good working knowledge of enclosing systems.
  • Experience of production processes and environments
  • Full understanding of quality and other ad hoc customer requirements
- wareness of Mailing environment including mailing processes and requirements.

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Good communication skills

Shifts are various and flex and if a nightshift is required an uplift will be paid - currently this is 9pm to 6am
