Head of Technology Delivery is required for a small trading house, who are a spin-off of a larger firm. As Head of Technology Delivery you will be responsible for the delivery of technology and it's success aligned with business & organisational goals. The trading house are a cross asset, OTC Derivatives & Structured products trading house.
Your role will be to work very closely with the Business Heads and other senior stakeholders, to define the requirements of the technology delivery, ensuring that standards and processes are common across all teams, therefore owning the delivery of technology and service to the business.
As Head of Technology Delivery, the size and makeup of the Technology team will be agreed with the Business owner to ensure a level of service that meets the expectations, prioritising and delivering against agreed deliverables– as such, it is vital that you have excellent exposure to trading desks and ideally OTC / Structured Products.
As Head of Technology Delivery, you will work closely with senior stakeholders, both on the business (Heads of Trading) as well as transparency to the C-suite (CEO, COO) to prioritise delivery and service from the technology team. Aligning the core technology strategy, representing the technology footprint. Making sure that internally the right-size technology team and footprint is maintained, including internal headcount and vendor management, aligning this with Business Owners for a cost-effective Technology service & team.
As well as overseeing the technical direction of the department. Research into new concepts, technologies, third party products etc... Ensuring delivered systems are secure, reliable and scale to meet the demands of the rapidly growing business. Giving regular status updates back to the business and C-suite.
