Description

Have you got City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or its equivalent degree? The Engineer will oversee the operation and maintenance of district heating scheme generation and distribution equipment, including large-scale boilers, CHP (Combined Heat and Power), and chiller plant.

A full driving license is essential due to the site's size.

The Ideal Candidate should ideally possess previous experience in this field and relevant industry qualifications.

Role - Mechanical Shift Engineer
Shift - 12-hour day shifts (6 am - 6 pm), followed by four days off, and then four 12-hour night shifts (6 pm - 6 am)
Perform planned maintenance as per contractual obligations.
Conduct repairs, reactive maintenance, and minor installations on plant equipment.
Full Clean Driving Licence
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or its equivalent
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of large scale heating, chilling and electrical systems, both from an electrical/mechanical perspective.
Practical experience with IT-related monitoring systems is advantageous.
