    Home Manager - Brentwood
    Up to £90,000 basic

    Are you an experienced Home Manager looking for your next challenge in the sector? Do you have a passion for ensuring that people requiring nursing and dementia care are supported to live their best possible lives?

    Would you like to work for a well-established company that offers lots of support and further training and development prospects?

    If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join the team as the Manager of a large nursing home in Brentwood.

    The role:

    • As Home Manager, you will effectively lead and motivate the team to work together to achieve positive outcomes for the residents, aiming for an Overall Good rating at the next inspection.
    • This home provides residential, nursing and dementia care for older adults and enjoys high occupancy levels.
    • The home is currently working towards an action plan and requires a committed Home Manager to offer real leadership and support with effective delegation and a visible presence around the home
    • As Home Manager, you will confidently lead the team, motivating and inspiring the team, to ensure that person-centered care is maintained at all times.
    • By making sure everything is up to date and any points to be addressed by the internal quality assurance team are completed, you will strive to achieve a positive inspection result.
    • With support from marketing and the finance team, you will also ensure the home maintains high occupancy levels and that it continues to be profitable.
    About you:
    • You will be a strong leader who has gained management experience in a similar size home and will ideally have some turnaround project experience
    • You will have an excellent understanding of CQC regulations and a good track record of achieving positive inspection reports, with at least an Overall Good rating
    • With a passion for providing the highest quality of care and support, you will have the ability to inspire and motivate others to ensure that the residents remain at the heart of everything.
    • You will also have excellent organisational, report writing and communication skills, liaising effectively with a wide demographic of stakeholders.
    • With strong commercial understanding, you will have experience in managing budgets and meeting KPIs
    • Most importantly, you will have a real passion for care and ensuring the highest standards of care and hospitality are provided to all residents and other stakeholders.
