- ASB possession claims
- Unauthorised subletting claims and tenancy fraud possession claims
- Unauthorised occupier possession claims, including failed successors, former licensees, and squatters
- Complex or defended rent arrears possession claims
- Other complex multi-ground possession claims
- Leasehold disputes and service charge recovery
- General advisory work on housing management and related issues as they arise, including hoarding, mental health, and social care issues
- ASB injunctions and contempt applications
- Must hold a valid Practising Certificate.
- You may be a Solicitor admitted to the roll of solicitors in England and Wales, a Barrister, or a Fellow of ILEX (and therefore eligible to be called a Legal Executive).
- Experience in housing management cases, typically a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in the areas outlined above.
- Experience in managing your own caseload and working to agreed levels of billing and time recording.
- Effective communicator, both orally and in writing, with a strong command of written English.
- Ability to work under pressure, managing a high volume of cases against tight deadlines, with a strong delivery focus.

Role Overview
Hyde is looking to recruit a dedicated Housing Lawyer to provide essential legal expertise in managing and resolving conflicts between tenants and Hyde. This role involves offering legal advice, representing the association in court, and ensuring compliance with housing laws and regulations. You will be working as part of an amazing in-house team with supportive and encouraging colleagues.
