Pipefitter

Walsall based

40 + hours per week

Monday to Friday

Upto £17 depending on experience

One of the UK's leading family-owned and operated engineering and services businesses, delivering outstanding projects throughout the built environment for valued customers across the UK are looking for an experience pipefitter to join their ever growing team.

Due to new contracts and projects this role is long term, with 40 + hours per week and is based onsite within the factory.

Duties:

Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the layout and installation of plumbing systems
Install, repair, and maintain piping systems, fixtures, and equipment
Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools
Weld, solder, or braze pipes and fittings together
Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other testing equipment
Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient and effective installation of plumbing systems
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:

Have previous pipefitter experience or extensive plumbing background
Own and use own tools
CIS certificate preferred
Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
Strong communication skills
