    Our retained client, Bethell Group, are a Manchester based civil engineering and utility services group, are continuing their major expansion plans in 2024 targeting a strengthening of their workforce by up to 20%.

    What Will the role involve?

    They are expanding their operational team, and they are now reaching into the current market to recruit a Senior Project Manager with proven experience United Utilities waste water framework experience and associated civil engineering works.

    This will be very much in a client-facing role. The successful candidate must have the ability to be an ambassador for the Company, always presenting a professional attitude towards the client. You will have experience in the management of construction projects in a Civils capacity on various Waste Water projects. You will review and ensure that an appropriate Quality Plan and Inspection and Test Plan are in place prior to site works commencing and regularly review Quality documentation to ensure accurate Quality records are being maintained, as per the client.

    You will work collaboratively with the client, design partners, internal staff, sub-contractors, operatives and other professionals and be responsible for all aspects of health and safety, quality and environmental assurance, contract administration, cost control, planning, communication and people management.

    What Key Skills & Experience Are We Looking For?

    Essential:

    Experience in waste water/excavation/groundworks/concreting/drainage

    Minimum 10 years' experience in a site supervisory role

    HNC/HND/Degree qualification in construction-related studies

    Minimum Gold Card CSCS accreditation

    SMSTS 5-day accreditation

    Minimum 3-day first aid accreditation

    Full Clean Driving Licence

    Temporary Works Supervisor accreditation

    NRSWA Supervisor/Lantra 12D accreditation

    SEATS accreditation (Site Environmental)

    Good working knowledge of the construction industry and of all relevant trade disciplines

    Good understanding of the CDM regulations

    Good understanding of NEC Form of Contracts
