- Overseeing the ongoing administration and maintenance of
- Preparing CareFirst in readiness for migration to Eclipse.
- Developing the Eclipse system to meet statutory, national and local recording and reporting requirements.
- Overseeing the development and provision of training for CareFirst and Eclipse for new and existing users – including e-learning and support modules.
- Offering continued support, help and assistance to end users.

About The ServiceA rare and exciting opportunity has arisen in Children's Services for an IT Systems Administrator and Development Officer. This post is responsible for the systems administration and ongoing development of the Children's Services client record system – currently CareFirst; to be Eclipse.

Significant experience in managing and developing IT systems is essential, as is the ability to manage your time and work under pressure to ensure the smooth running of this busy team. Attention to detail and accuracy are very important to this work.
You will need to be an effective communicator with the ability to understand the issues relating to the directorate and have experience of day to day supervision of staff. Experience of CareFirst, Eclipse or a similar social care client record system is essential.
