    The opportunity

    This is a hands-on role reporting to the Head of Employer Brand, leading on all activity across our Northern Ireland business during an unprecedented period of growth. Over the next few years we're creating 1,000 new roles in Northern Ireland – and this role will spearhead the brand activity which delivers that pipeline of candidates.

    You'll be empowered to own relationships with leaders and stakeholders in the business and develop exciting activations across all service lines, with a particular focus on building brand awareness and attracting a more diverse talent pool to EY.     Your key responsibilities

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across Leadership, Talent and our UK Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) function to align employer branding campaigns to key communications initiatives and hiring needs across the region
  • Own the reporting and measurement of our Northern Ireland talent attraction strategy for both students and experienced professionals, understanding key business drivers and the role of recruitment in the context of our overall business objectives
  • Act as trusted advisor to Northern Ireland leadership team, proactively offering market insights, innovative ideas and fresh perspectives to build the EY brand and reach relevant audiences in new ways
  • Lead the design, development, and execution of our recruitment marketing activities across all service lines and audiences within Northern Ireland – joining work up wherever appropriate to build consistency
  • Act as a leader within the employer brand team – providing colleagues with support and guidance to help them develop and grow
  • Drive innovation and creativity within Northern Ireland, sharing best practice with the wider business on audience mindset, messaging and creative
  • Own relevant, local day-to-day relationships with local creative and other partners to maximise value and ensure all agreed deliverables are met
  • Manage the budget for Northern Ireland activity, tracking invoicing to ensure no overspend
  • Proactively scan the market to understand the latest trends in the employer branding space and beyond, with an eye on new campaigns, channels, and initiatives across the market
  • Skills and attributes for success

  • Project management skills – ability to plan and manage time and activity effectively. You will have experience of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relationship building skills – ability to build productive relationships with a range of colleagues and stakeholders. You will be an active listener - but able to express your opinion when relevant and be highly visible to business stakeholders.
  • Marketing skills – experience of managing and building brands to shape a strategic direction and consistently deliver against agreed goals in a sustainable way
  • Commercial awareness – you will have experience measuring complex business goals and deliverables – regularly reporting on these to teams and stakeholders.
  • Resilience – you will be able to work under pressure in a complex business, to respond to change and to lead others through change
  • To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Previous experience working in the employer branding or brand marketing space with a passion for the field
  • Demonstrable experience delivery marketing success within Northern Ireland
  • Ideally, you'll also have

  • Previous experience working in a professional services environment
  • Previous experience leading a team or leading through others
  • An advanced understanding of employer brand trends and best practice
