    Access and Assessment Team Leader (Female*)

    We are currently seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Access & Assessment (AAT) Team Leader.

    AAT is the first point of contact for Leeds Domestic Violence Service for any person who is experiencing domestic abuse. The team works with victim-survivors, risk assessing and developing support and safety plans.

    AAT is also the first point of contact for professionals who are making referrals, seeking support for their service-users or wanting advice.

    You will support, lead and manage the team to provide a high quality and proactive service to victim-survivors and professionals from other organisations.

    You will need;

    • Experience of leading, motivating and managing a team.

    • Experience of working at pace and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations under pressure

    • Experience of working within an operational multi-agency environment

    • A good understanding of safeguarding, domestic abuse, sexual and honour-based violence, stalking and forced marriage.

    Leeds Women's Aid (LWA) is the largest women's charitable organisation in Leeds and provides services for victims of domestic abuse, honour-based violence, forced marriage, stalking and harassment and is the lead agency for two consortia, Leeds Domestic Violence Service and Women's Lives Leeds.
