We are working with anambitious and exceptional primary school based in Reading that isseeking a proactive and emotionally intelligent Year 4 teacher forSeptember 2024. The children are hardworking caring inquisitive andimaginative and the staff here aspire to develop wellroundedconfident pupils through a supportive pastoral environment.Consequently we are seeking a primary teacher who knows how todrive attainment and create engaginglessons.

Responsibilitiesof a Year 4 teacher:
As a Year 4teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of childrentaking their first steps in Key Stage 2 promoting teamwork andcultivating a conducive learning environment.
Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children whilealso focusing on each individual childs learning targetsencouraging their strengths and improving theirweaknesses
Further developing maths ability andintroducing fractions statistics and geometry
Help children develop their writing ability by creating plotscharacters and settings for stories.
Keepingtrack of childrens progress and occasionally reporting back toparents
Aboutthe school:
