    We are seeking a highly motivated Reservations Supervisor to join the Commercial Operations team at Imperial College London. Based at the South Kensington campus and reporting to the Accommodation Sales Manager and Commercial Summer Lettings Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading the summer accommodation temporary reservation teams in reaching its targets.

  • Manage the Temporary Reservation Sales Agents, set targets, and ensure that these are met.
  • Manage the recruitment process and training of the Temporary Reservation Sales Agents and provide consistent support and development during their contracted period.
  • Assist the Accommodation Sales Manager and the Product and Revenue Specialist in the day to day administration of booking extranets, retail and allocation systems to ensure up-to-date availability to sell our summer accommodation
  • Support the Accommodation Sales Manager with forward thinking and planning, to grow the department and meet targets.
  • Maintain a good relationship with internal and external clients and suppliers
  • Report to the Accommodation Sales Manager activities, challenges, business trends and opportunities to increase revenue and brand awareness
  • Extensive reservations and experience within the hospitality industry in a residential venue is essential
  • Experience in managing a team of 3 staff or more
  • Experience in using hotel/hospitality booking system (ideally Kinetics)
  • Customer Service Experience ideally in the hospitality sector
  • Experience of prioritising tasks and of managing busy workloads successfully to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Knowledge of and interest in the London hospitality market
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Office365 and Teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A confident, resourceful and creative individual who can operate in a challenging environment
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and a good team player
  • Excellent standard of written and spoken English and numeracy
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide-range of stakeholders
