In depth experience of Power Platform - Canvas App, Model Driven Apps, Connectors, Data verse and ideally AI Builder.

In depth commercial experience working with Power Apps including Dynamics
Excellent knowledge of Power Automate Platform.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

A strong background & experience in building scalable, resilient, and secured solutions using Microsoft Power Platform for regulated businesses.

Experience deploy and maintaining Power Apps Solutions and other components across multiple environments in Power Platform.
Experience in defining and agreeing the initial configuration for Power Platform to meet security and operational needs
Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) for power apps solutions lifecycle.
Experience in Architectural planning /roadmap creation for power platform usage and deployment

Experience with the configuration and deployment of Microsoft Centre of Excellence platform for Power Apps would also be an advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities
Working with key internal stakeholders from Infrastructure, Information Security, Application Development and

Enterprise Architecture:

Initially, we would agree a multi-step pragmatic roadmap for enablement of specific subsets of Power Platform technologies to meet new application needs.

Review, document and agree the input requirements (capability's, information governance, data governance etc) required at each step in detail
Design and document the configuration showing how it meets the input requirements, and gain sign off for that design
Build and verify each of the initial steps.

Ensure handover and documentation of the configuration at each step, including guidance to ensure effective and efficient operations and management.

Overall Objective Of Role
The business uses Office 365, Power BI and some Azure services currently.

Now, the business is seeking to enable more of the Power Platform as an additional development capability for the organisation.

We are seeking an experienced Power Platform architect to help us define the technology configuration for the platform so that we can meet our development and risk / information security goals.

Topics and Areas for consideration
Power Apps
Understanding of DLP policies; How to ensure data is only accessed by people and resources we want to access the data
Single Sign on for internal (Entra based) users
Data encryption
Data tagging
License options and costs
Resource usage monitoring (azure tagging?) to enable cost tracking of consumption to a business unit
ADO based build pipelines for Power Apps for CI/CD
Ensure turn off of unused resources
Reusable components within an organisation – how to do that safely
How to integrate access logs / audit trails with Rapid 7 SOC / SIEM
Data stores for Power Apps
(Options – we probably will need SPO (short term / simplest / already live / already backed up), Dataverse (as needed for Dynamics) but also a cheaper non-dataverse store for both documents (binary blobs) of various sorts and structured data somewhere cheaper than dataverse).

Dataverse as a data store for Power Apps
Cosmo DB as a Power Apps data store
Serverless compute tier for Azure SQL Database
(Consideration of cost and backup for the above – we use Avepoint for Office 365 backup and the MS standard 'free' backup of 30 days is not sufficient so woud ex[ect to need to extend Avepoint over the additional data stores)
