    As a Warehouse Automation Architect, you will be a visionary force in revolutionizing our warehousing operations through cutting-edge automation technologies.

    Drawing on your extensive expertise in warehouse automation systems, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing state-of-the-art solutions that optimize our warehouse processes, increase efficiency, and reduce operational costs.

    Your role entails collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, analyzing operational requirements, and developing automation strategies tailored to our unique needs


    Designing Automation Solutions:

    Develop and design end-to-end automation solutions for the warehouse, considering factors such as process optimization, system integration, robotics, and IoT technologies.


    Assessing Warehouse Needs:

    Collaborate with stakeholders to assess the current warehouse operations, identify areas for improvement, and determine the automation requirements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.


    Technology Evaluation:

    Research and evaluate emerging automation technologies and vendors to identify the best-fit solutions for the organization's specific needs and budget.

    Ensure seamless integration of automation systems with existing warehouse management software (WMS) and other relevant IT systems to enable real-time data exchange and process synchronization.


    Customization and Configuration:

    Customize automation solutions to align with the unique workflows and processes of the warehouse, configuring automation systems to meet specific operational requirements.


    Project Management:

    Oversee the end-to-end implementation of automation projects, including defining project scopes, timelines, and budgets, and managing the project team and resources effectively.


    Testing and Quality Assurance:

    Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to ensure the reliability and accuracy of automation systems, addressing any issues and making improvements as needed.


    Training and Documentation:

    Provide training to warehouse staff on operating and maintaining automation equipment, and create detailed documentation and manuals for reference.


    Performance Monitoring:

    Implement monitoring and analytics tools to continuously assess the performance of automation systems, proactively identify bottlenecks or issues, and make data-driven improvements.


    Compliance and Safety:

    Ensure that all automation systems and processes comply with safety regulations and industry standards, taking appropriate measures to minimize risks to personnel and equipment.


    Cost Management:
    Manage the budget for automation projects, tracking expenses, and optimizing costs while delivering on project objectives.

    Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.


    Continuous Improvement:

    Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in warehouse automation, identifying opportunities for ongoing enhancements and efficiency gains.


    Problem-Solving:
    Act as a subject matter expert to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to automation systems promptly.
    Ensure that automation solutions are designed with scalability in mind to accommodate future growth and changing operational needs.


    A deep understanding of warehouse operations, including processes, workflows, inventory management, and order fulfillment, is essential to identify areas where automation can provide the most significant benefits.


    Automation Technology Expertise:

    Proficiency in various automation technologies such as conveyor systems, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), robotic systems, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), and IoT devices is crucial.

    Warehouse Management Systems (WMS): Familiarity with WMS software and how it integrates with automation systems is vital for seamless data exchange and warehouse control.

    Strong skills in system integration to ensure that automation solutions work harmoniously with existing warehouse systems, including software and hardware components.


    Data Analytics:

    The ability to collect and analyze data generated by automation systems to make informed decisions and optimize operations further.


    Engineering and Design:
    Proficiency in designing layouts and configurations for automation systems, considering space utilization, safety, and efficiency.

    Industry Knowledge:

    Stay up to date with the latest trends, advancements, and best practices in warehouse automation, robotics, and supply chain technology.

    Experience in leading and motivating teams, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring project deliverables are met.

    A customer-centric approach to understanding and meeting the specific automation needs and goals of the organization and its clients.


    Experience:

    Significant experience in warehouse automation or industrial engineering, with a proven track record of successful automation projects and process improvements.

    Experience on working with Geek+, Knapp, PBS, SSI automation solutions.
