The role:

We are looking to hire a Universal Banker for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

This is an entry level position responsible for providing a 'remarkable' client experience to Citibank UK and Global Banking clients.

This role assists with onboarding and sourcing new clients, as well as providing an account maintenance service (including cash activities).


Background/context:

This role reports to the Citi Gold Private Client Lounge Manager. It is the primary acquisition and service role within Citi Gold Private Client Lounge.


Responsibilities:


Deliver results

  • Source new target market clients in line with business goals and objectives.
  • Contribute effectively to team activities including generating new sales ideas and initiatives.
  • Develop and demonstrate an indepth knowledge and understanding of the markets, banking and wealth management products and services in order to match our proposition to client needs.
  • Support client events as required (flexibility in working hours). Effectively engage in client. conversation, proposition presentations and promoting services with clients with clients.

Drive value for clients

  • Demonstrate a passion for and always deliver a 'remarkable' client experience.
  • Complete all customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Promote the benefits of alternative methods of banking by actively educating clients on digital banking (CBOL and MBOL).
  • Actively contribute to a positive NPS score.
  • Act as an owner and ensure that clients are at the forefront of everything you do.
  • Deliver against standards set out in client journeys. Ensure highest standards are achieved in every client interaction.
  • Ensure all Lounge standards are met, as well as providing client tours, room bookings and hospitality.

Experience / Skills required for the role:

  • Proven experience within a financial institution.
  • Substantial experience in a client service role.
  • Knowledge of Wealth Management banking products.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
