Senior Planner - Wind Farm Project (Norwich)

Our Client is a leading contractor in the renewable energy sector, dedicated to creating a greener and more sustainable future.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled
Senior Planner to join our team and contribute to the successful development of a cutting-edge Wind Farm project in Norwich.


Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Planner, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of the project


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
  • Collaborating closely with crossfunctional teams including engineering, construction, and project management to coordinate and optimize project activities.
  • Conducting feasibility assessments, risk analyses, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Providing strategic insights and recommendations to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and environmental requirements in all project planning activities.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external, to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and software for scheduling and analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a hybrid role, with the flexibility to be onsite 50% of the time.
  • Problemsolving mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving project needs.
  • Relevant certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous.
