    Description

    Job Title: CAD Technician Apprentice at BakerHicks

    BakerHicks has experienced significant growth in the Transmission & Distribution sector in the past decade, securing several important projects in the UK. We are currently looking for an Apprentice to join our Overhead Line design team as a CAD Technician.

    Responsibilities:

    • Performing draughting tasks using AutoCAD, Microstation, and other design tools.
    • Producing high-quality, precise designs, calculations, and drawings of mechanical building services engineering drawings under the guidance of Engineers and Technicians.

    As an apprentice at BakerHicks, you will be supported through our Apprenticeship scheme. You will attend technical college on a day release program to pursue the theoretical engineering qualification. Through a combination of on-the-job training and academic studies, you will earn a qualification in Construction and the Built Environment.

    Requirements:

    Candidates typically need a minimum of 5 GCSE grades A* - C, including mathematics, English, and a science or technical subject. Additionally, apprentices must have achieved minimum qualifications in English and mathematics before the final assessment.
