    Job Title: Stock Controller / Production Administrator

    Site Location: St Helens

    Responsible To: Internal Systems Manager

    Purpose of the Role: Managing the goods in diary for raw materials, processing works order production sheets, producing documentation detailing stock movements from production to warehouse, and entering accurate data onto systems.

    Client Brief: Our client is one of the largest independent manufacturers of their products in the UK supplying independent and national merchant customers across the UK. Multimillion pound investments in new machinery in recent years with a strong focus on growth and the development of innovative design ideas.

    Reason for Vacancy: Increased demand

    Contract: Permanent

    Salary: £11.44ph

    Shifts: Monday to Friday only, 8am-5.00pm

    Facilities: Fantastic facilities on site inclusive of onsite parking, all kitchen facilities, very well-kept site.

    Responsibilities:

    • Managing goods in and goods out diary, dealing with any delivery failures, and rescheduling.
    • Accurately book stock onto the system and produce put-away labels, ensuring quantities are 100% correct.
    • Dealing with all products from suppliers that come through goods in and dealing with any anomalies.
    • Administering inter-branch transfers of stock to local warehousing and storage sites.
    • Administering live data accurately.
    • Processing and administering works order production runs.
    • Administration including producing documents supporting stock movements.
    • Dealing with paperwork surrounding goods in and goods out.
    • Providing the production team with administrative support.
    • Create and monitor repair schedules, perform routine maintenance, and preventative repairs on existing systems.
    • Actively build relationships with third-party companies and engineers who attend the site.

    Key Skills Required:

    • Previous experience as a Stock Controller or Production Administrator.
    • Comfortable working in the office and also on the yard / warehouse areas where applicable.
    • Excellent Excel skills.
    • High attention to detail.
    • Accurate data entry.
    • Competent in Microsoft Office Programmes.
