Description

As Quality Manager you will ensure that the company's product portfolio is fit for purpose, consistent and meets both internal and external requirements.

This will include legal compliance and customer expectations. Implement all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System and ensure compliance
Update quality documentation and communicate to carry forward lessons learned from quality concerns in new customer contracts
Manage all quality-related issues within the manufacturing and engineering team
Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management system (ISO9001)
Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process or system
You will have good knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
Relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree preferred, or ONC, A Levels, BTec Diploma Level 4 or equivalent NVQ level 4 qualification
Previous experience in a high volume manufacturing automotive environment or Tier-1 supplier to the automotive industry
