Temporary Admin Officer - Financial Assessment Team

Pay Rate:
£15.24


per hour PAYE

  • Make initial contact with clients and explain the financial assessment process and answer any questions they may have about the whole social services process, not just financial assessment.
  • Liaise with the social workers to discuss complex cases or to find out whether clients will be receiving chargeable services.
  • Case note telephone conversation on team software.
  • Keep a record of all incoming post in the teams alphabetical splits (on post spreadsheet), this include the allocations from the desktop. Run any ad hoc report as advised by the team manager.
  • Minute taking for all team meetings.
  • Supporting the team and team manager with any ad hoc admin tasks.
  • Any other ad hoc duties.

Specific Role Requirements" - to give yourself the maximum chance of success please try and ensure your CV addresses the following essential criteria:

  • Minimum of 12 months
    recent senior administration experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation
  • Proven ability to take and transcribe detailed and accurate meeting minutes.
  • Proven Team Player
  • Good problem solving skills and ability to use initiative
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrable experience of accurate and timely data input and data management
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal & written
  • ICT Skills: Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite)
