    A School based in Bromley is seeking a dedicated SEMH Specialist to join the team on a full-time basis starting from April 2024.

    Position Overview:


    We are currently seeking a SEMH Specialist to work closely with a Key Stage 2 student who has been diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety, and challenging behaviour.

    As a SEMH Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised support, implementing strategies, and fostering a positive learning environment for the student.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop and implement personalized support plans to address the student's SEMH needs.
    Provide one-to-one support and interventions to help manage anxiety and challenging behaviour.
    Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for the student.
    Monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly to facilitate the student's emotional well-being and academic progress.
    Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social and emotional development

    Requirements:
    Experience working with children with SEMH challenges, particularly PTSD and anxiety.
    Passion for supporting mental health and creating positive learning environments.
    Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    Psychology graduates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
