    Temp-to-Perm
    May July 2025
    £400-£425 Weekly Pay (PAYE - No Umbrella Company)

    We are looking for a Enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our Ofsted 'Outstanding' Primary School in Halewood. As a Teaching Assistant you will support access to learning for pupils and supporting the teacher with managing pupils and the classroom. If you are looking for a new career move then this could be for you.

    Person Specification;

    • GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grace C) in English and Maths.
    • First-aid training, or willingness to complete it
    • Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
    • Experience working in a school environment or other educational settings
    • Experience planning and delivering learning activities.
    • Enjoy of working with children

    As a teaching assistant you'll be expected to:

    • Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the head teacher, ALNCO and class teachers
    • Use ICT skills to advance pupils learning
    • Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
    • Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
    • Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
    • Promote, support and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities.
    • Active listening skills
