    We have an amazing opportunity for a skilled Mineralogist to join our team at Concrete4Change. The main focus of this role will be to delve into cement chemistry.

    Job Title: Experienced Mineralogist/Cement Chemist/Exploration Geologist (Job title can be tailored)

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years post-PhD experience in independent research
    • Team and budget management experience
    • Expertise in concrete and cement chemistry, with emphasis on mineral carbonation
    • Knowledge of laboratory setup, HSE requirements, equipment specification, and procurement
    • Extensive background in CCUS and carbonation of minerals
    • Experience in R&D related to mineral carbonation

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop new technology areas leveraging existing capabilities
    • Contribute to C4C IPR for CO2 carrier technologies
    • Assist in funded grant project proposals
    • Manage the chemical laboratory
    • Utilize cement/concrete chemistry for carbon capture and utilization
    • Evaluate CCU techniques on cement-based materials
    • Conduct cost-benefit analysis of developed materials
