- Coordinate the development and maintenance of safety files for gas plant modification projects under the NG contract
- Ensure compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM 2015)
- Facilitate the integration of safety and health considerations during the project lifecycle
- Lead the coordination between project teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure CDM obligations are met
- Prepare and review health and safety documentation, including risk assessments and method statements
- Conduct safety inspections and audits. Provide CDM and safety training to project teams
- In alignment with the principal designer responsibilities under CDM, coordinate the safety aspects of project design, ensuring that health and safety are prioritized in accordance with CDM 2015
- Act as a key advisor to the principal designer on safety file management and CDM compliance
- Degree in Safety Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Professional certification in health and safety management (., NEBOSH, IOSH)
- Extensive experience in CDM and safety management within the construction or gas industry
- Familiarity with CDM 2015 regulations and best practices in construction safety
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
