Mainstay recruitment are currently working with a well-established supportive company who are currently looking to recruit for a Health and Safety Advisor.

This role will involve the suitable candidate working alongside the Health & afety team and operational team to ensure all service delivery across planned and reactive maintenance and projects are in line with Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.

Duties:

As the Health and safety advisor you will support the operational team with guidance and solutions to ensure all work activities with employees and contractors are completed within a safe manner
You will work alongside the operational and Health & Safety team to ensure all work completed across maintenance and projects are compliant with regulations
As the Health & Safety advisor you will carry out accident investigations and ensure actions are put in place to ensure these incidents aren't repeated
Within this role you will also carry out scheduled and unscheduled inspections of work activities across the estate, taking appropriate action where needed
You will travel to remote sites to complete accident investigations and incident reportinCandidate:

The relevant candidate will have relevant Health and safety qualifications e.g. NEBOSH
NEBOSH Construction and P405 is highly desirable
Previous experience within Safety advisory roles is essential
