    This is an exciting opportunity for you to have a role in direct patient care with opportunities to develop your clinical knowledge and skills.

    We welcome applications from registered pharmacy technician colleagues working in all sectors of the profession.

    Prior experience working in mental health is not required as a comprehensive programme of training and clinical supervision will be provided.

    We provide pharmacy and medicines optimisation services to all of our mental health, learning disability and neuro-rehabilitation inpatient areas, as well as to community teams, Clozapine clinics and crisis teams.

    Our Pharmacy staff are highly regarded as valued members of the multi-disciplinary team.
    Medicines reconciliation and review on admission.
    Working in off-site community teams co-ordinating the process of medicines optimisation.
    Discharge planning, liaison with patients, community teams and pharmacies.

    Qualified Pharmacy Technician (NVQ3/BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science) with post qualification
    Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
    Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, mature in outlook and flexible in approach, working to high professional standards and attention to detail
