Description
The MHRA is transforming. Through enabling innovation, making the right judgements of the benefits and risks of medical products and forging the right partnerships in the UK and internationally, it aims to deliver world class regulation and improved outcomes for UK patients.
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Scientist to join our Immunobiology and Biochemistry team in the Science, Research & Innovation group.
Within a week of working here, your day could look like this: ensuring analytical assays are performed in compliance with ISO17025, managing the day-to-day implementation and delivery of improvements in patient outcomes through organisation of resources, process improvement and changes in working practice, engaging with stakeholders including colleagues across the Agency and other National Control Laboratories and manufacturers to ensure quality of service and patients' access to medicines.
The successful candidate will have advanced experience of working within ISO17025 (or other relevant) quality management system, extensive experience of using a LIMS and of statistical analysis and interpreting results derived from large complex data sets.
