    EVENTS ASSISTANT

    The Company

    We are a small business creating educational events with well-known authors and public speakers in the UK and around Europe as well as marketing other products connected to personal development. We work a lot with speakers who talk about the bridges between science and spirituality and more details about our events can be found online here

    Responsibilities

    • Assist the Events Manager with end-to-end event management and marketing campaigns.
    • Manage in house communication between different teams.
    • Liaising with global venues to work on event specifications.
    • Assist with events logistics including liaising with venues, hosts, guests, speakers and onsite teams.
    • Support with event administration.
    • Assistance in PR and promotion for events including press listings.
    • Management of products sold at the events including stock control.
    • Other related event tasks.
    • Attend events with the event manager.

    Requirements

    • Previous experience within events, preferred experience inside the conference arena.
    • Must be able to travel to the US.
    • English is essential at a native written and spoken level.
    • Proficient in MS Office, Excel and Word.
    • Excellent organisational skills.
    • Problem-solving and common sense and keen intellect.
    • Ability to work alone and from one's own initiative and under pressure.
    • Team player.
    • Excellent communication skills with people, people person.
    • Full driving license.

    Working hours

    Working hours are usually 9am to 5pm from we do have an office and you may have to go in to prep for some events and manage stock.

    What to expect

    • You will be dealing directly with customers, venues and possibly well-known people.
    • Some travel during the day may be necessary.
    • Travel to other parts of the US, UK and Europe for our events will be essential.

    The position requires is a 5 day a week job working Monday to Friday remotely and also working out of our office when required.
