    Position Summary:

    In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the architecture, implementation, operations and performance of the SAP and 3rd party product landscapes. You will serve as one of the primary contacts within the organization for the SAP BASIS area. You will define and enforce standards related to the technology tower. Will be responsible for proactively identifying opportunities to utilize the technology to solve technical and business problems.

    Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

    · You will be the primary point of contact for all SAP Basis issues related to the SAP environment.

    · You will work closely with Cloud architects, engineering, operations and other infrastructure teams to deploy and support Cloud resources and troubleshoot and resolve problems.

    · You will be the interface with the Basis team to effectively manage the workload and ensure software consistency across the SAP landscape.

    · You will actively manage the performance of the SAP landscape, including capacity planning and tuning.

    · You will participate in the IT Change Management process and validate/approve all SAP-related changes.

    · You will keep abreast of new developments and forecasts of future trends in SAP technology.

    · You will work with internal and external customers to understand their requirements to form a forward-thinking architectural vision for the infrastructure of the Company.

    · You will provide input and support new projects affecting the SAP environments.

    · You will engage and interface directly with SAP as required for product support/questions.

    · You will define solutions by identifying requirements and writing functional specifications; consult with technical subject matter experts.

    · You will advise on options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on other business processes and system priorities; contribute to cost versus benefit measures.

    · You will perform related duties as assigned.

    · You will lead projects and be responsible for deliverables.

    · You will work on multiple, high to highly complex projects

    Skills and Experience Required:

    You must have experience with multiple SAP implementation lifecycles and production SAP infrastructure operations. Requires experience with implementation, operating, and performance management of SAP S/4 HANA, SAP PO, SAP Fiori, SAP Solution Manager, SAP BTP, SAP LVM, SAP HANA Cockpit, SAP SLT, SAP DS/IS, SAP ECC system on Oracle Database & SAP HANA in On-Prem and Public cloud such as Azure, GCP, AWS. Expertise with SAP product release upgrades, OS/DB Migration and SAP HANA DB upgrades. Good working knowledge of running SAP in High Availability and Disaster Recovery setup, Configuring SAP/HANA DB in HA products such as Veritas Pacemaker. Exposure to DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket, and Nexus repository. Experience with SAP RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and BPiM (Business Process/Interface Monitoring) tools is a plus. Candidates should also have experience working with 3rd party 'bolt-on' applications, including but not limited to Vendavo, Vertex, OpenText Document management, OpenText Exstream and Redwood/CPS.

    You should know about various Microsoft Azure Compute-related resources such as VM, Storage, ANF, ASG/NSG, Firewall, Backup, Web Application Firewall, Application Gateways, Load balancer, HA/DR, Networking, etc.
