Welcome to Westland Farm!

Westland Farm is a spacious area with a variety of farm buildings, providing a nurturing environment for children and young people throughout the day along with a certified school. The premises consist of 5 small buildings and a cozy 'flat' style space, which includes shared areas, offices, and restroom facilities, including a charming log cabin and communal dining space.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our team for 10 hours a week. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the aforementioned buildings.

We value flexibility and prefer someone who can work either from 7-9 am or 5-7 pm, but there is room for negotiation, such as switching a weekday for a weekend day.

We are looking for an individual who is genuine, amiable, hardworking, and willing to undergo Safer recruitment vetting, including a DBS (police check) and providing references. Cleaning materials will be supplied for your convenience.

Tasks Include:

Tidying and cleaning various rooms, including kitchens and toilets.
Keeping walls, doors, skirting boards, and all surfaces clean and organized.
Changing furniture covers, washing cushions, and other soft furnishings.
Emptying bins and disposing of waste in the main bins.
Restocking supplies like soap and toilet paper.
Dusting, cleaning, and polishing furniture and equipment.
Vacuuming or sweeping, and cleaning/polishing floors using appropriate tools both indoors and in outdoor seating or garden areas.
Window cleaning, both inside and outside.
Deep cleaning of appliances such as fridges and ovens.
Potential additional tasks related to the role may be available for individuals seeking extra hours, including domestic cleaning for the house on-site, cooking, baking, or window cleaning.

Job Types: Permanent, Part-time

Part-time hours: 10 per week

Salary: £11.00 per hour
