ROLE
We are looking for an ambitious Lawyer qualified in the UK or in an overseas jurisdiction, who is looking for a varied role that will offer a broad range of experience with firms across financial services.
The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years' experience and working knowledge of the majority of the vertical specialisms across investment management including:Retail funds;
Alternative funds;
Institutional;
Distribution;
Custody;
Administration;
Regulation;
Trading, execution and clearing; and
Derivatives, repos and securities lending.
The right candidate will be honest, driven and committed to contributing to the team's and clients' success.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the team to undertake varied legal work (i.e. contracts, advice, policies etc) across each specialism of investment management.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
~ law degree;
~ practising certificate;
~3-6 years' legal work experience in the jurisdiction you hold a practising certificate;
~ language proficiency;
~ resourceful, and confident with great problem-solving skills;
~ at building relationships internally and externally;
~ interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management, staff and clients located in different jurisdictions;
~ able to take the initiative and anticipate the firm's and client's needs;
~ to work effectively with a range of personality types and seniority levels;
~ motivated self-starter with a history of pushing for deadline-driven results;
~ to jump in and support the team when/where needed;
~ and be one step ahead, constantly thinking about what needs to be done next to improve efficiency for the team and our clients;
~ to work in an environment requiring attention to detail and high levels of accuracy;
~ to work autonomously where required, meet deadlines and handle queries from inside and outside the company;
~ to commute to our offices in London as this is an in-office role with flexible working policy; and
~ mac laptop as we operate a BYOA(pple) policy to allow for maximum agility.
LOCATION
This is an in-office role based in London Bridge.
