An Opportunity to join a well known Haulage Logistics organisation- A Monday
- Friday Nights shift with hours between 11pm and 6am
About Our Client:
Our client is a well established Haulage business who require a Nights Transport Planner due to expansion.
- Working in a busy transport office you will be overseeing our customer collections / deliveries and ensuring everything runs to time on the night shift
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers drivers & subcontractors, communicating any issues in real time
- Ability to adhere to drivers hours legislation and maintenance requirements.
- Using your ability to prioritise workloads & excellent organisational skills to ensure our customer deadlines are always met
The Successful Applicant:
- Excellent problem solving skills, with the awareness to escalate when required.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally & written
- Strong geographical knowledge
- PC skills, knowledge of Mircosoft Word, Excel & Outlook
- Ability to problem solve whilst remaining calm
- Previous experience working in a logistics environment
