As part of this positive change and to enable the RSPCA to move forward, we are establishing an integrated Marketing Centre of Excellence.

The formation of this team reflects the commitment the organisation is making to improve the way we engage with the public.


An essential role within the Marketing Centre of Excellence is the role of Creative Artworker, which we are offering on a 24 month fixed term contract basis.

Here's some of the key work that you will be doing...


As Creative Artworker, you will support the Senior Designers and Creative Manager by taking responsibility for smaller, independent projects; you will work on visual concepts and will prepare artwork for production by checking artwork from other team members, adhering to processes and monitoring quality of output.


A key element of this creative role will be for the post holder to design a range of RSPCA creative assets, for use online and offline.


An important role of the Creative Artworker is to ensure the RSPCA brand is correctly and consistently applied and that photographs and artwork are correctly credited and presented.


Within this highly technical role; the post holder must ensure that the RSPCA's brand image and reputation is enhanced and totally protected at all times.


The role will be hybrid working from our South East Regional Hub in Horsham; West Sussex or our London Hub in Blackfriars, with a high focus on remote working.

Trips to the office will be for core collaboration.

What we are looking for in you...

  • Recent working knowledge and high level of skill in using Adobe Creative Cloud apps, including: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat.
  • A good eye for layout and typography, meticulous attention to detail.
  • Technical reproduction knowledge (printing) and a knowledge of producing digital files
  • The proven ability to work within Brand Guidelines.
  • A strong collaborator
  • A willingness to continuously learn and to develop your skill set.
