London - Full or Part Time

We are looking for a Sonographer with experience in fertility, or gynaecology, to join a established hospital in central London.

This role is offered on a full, or part, time basis with full time shifts working 1 weekend in 4 and part time shifts working 3 weekends a month.

In order to succeed at this role you must have 2 years experience of independently performing diagnostic and monitoring scans during IVF or early pregnancy.

You must be able to clearly explain the sonography procedure to patients whilst also putting them ease prior to, and during, the procedure.

You should also be confident in presenting the sonograms and preliminary findings to the Consultant in charge should there be any concerns.

It is also important that you are able to complete the appropriate documentation, and maintain patient's medical records, as well as perform routine maintenance of scan machines (including sanitary and infection control procedures).
