- Providing a high level of legal advice and assistance, working both independently, with minimal supervision and as a member of the team.
- To maintain existing relations with the firm's clients and assist and help develop new relationships with third party referrers.
- To manage employment matters, with a particular focus on but not limited to:
- Drafting, including contracts and handbooks.
- Advising on HR matters including disciplinary and grievance.
- Employment litigation including unfair dismissal, discrimination and restrictive covenants.
- TUPE, redundancy and reorganisation including consultation processes, risk areas and practicalities.
- Settlement agreements.
- Representing and liaising with both employers and employees.
- To work closely with other Departments on joint projects.
- To participate in the growth and future development of the department, assisting in building the client base and marketing the Firm's services. You will be a qualified solicitor (UK qualified) offering no less then 2 PQE (however those offering less with strong technical ability who have operated within a paralegal or executive role prior to qualification will also be strongly considered) Local to Shropshire or Hereford.
