Adept Resourcing are excited to be recruiting for a specialist manufacturing and distribution company that supply high quality products globally.

Our client is looking for an Internal Sales Executive to join their innovative internal sales team.


This role will work as part of a team in implementing the company's strategic plan by meeting the department's objectives.

You will report into the General Manager and be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to the company'scustomer base.


Responsibilities include:


  • Make proactive sales calls to new and existing clients with a strong focus on building customer relationships.
  • Respond to sales and technical enquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person.
  • Working closely within a sales team to help build sales growth.
  • Helping source and develop client referrals for marketing purposes.
  • Ensuring a good level of customer service/support satisfaction and good client relationships.
  • Following up on all sales enquires.
  • Develop and maintain a customer database.
  • Generate and qualify leads in accordance with agreed strategic plan.
  • Negotiate with new and existing clients within agreed parameters.
  • Assisting with maintaining and developing company price lists and pricing structure, suggesting changes to suit market conditions and customer feedback.
  • Work with the Sales Manager on developing and increasing Sales.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Department and help to support the marketing strategy.
  • Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up with management.
  • Assist with the preparation of sales action plans and strategies where required.
  • Participate in both UK and International sales events as required.
  • To participate and embrace sales training programmes and to attend on occasions external sales meetings when required.
  • Work in a safe manner to ensure the safety of self and others and highlight any concerns to the QHSE Manager / Area Safety Representative.
  • Comply with processes/procedures to ensure that the Company achieves it goal to continually improve its environmental performance.

  • Experience of working in a proactive Internal Sales role.
  • Experience of building and developing strong customer relationships.
  • Exceptional customer support service skills.
  • Knowledge of basic business principles.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Organised and accurate.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Good team player.

Desirable skills:


  • Experience in a previous technical role would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of drainage rehabilitation products would be a benefit.
  • Previous experience working within the construction/drainage industries.
  • Experience of using Sage ERP software.
