Compass Life Sciences are partnering with a leading full service CRO developing their own novel platforms to the further development of anti-viral studies.

Due to increasing portfolio of studies and an ever-increasing need for development in this sectorspace our client is looking for qualified Nurses to expand their team.

Given the nature of this role, to be considered for this role you must be a qualified nurse with up-to-date registration.


Requirements:

NMC registration essential and Nursing qualification essential
Certificate in basic or intermediate life support essential
Sound clinical knowledge
Competence in the recording of medical history, vital signs, ECG, phlebotomy etc essential
Knowledge of GCP. Previous experience in a clinical trials setting is desirable but not essential
Ability to prioritise own workload
Ability to manage adverse events or clinical incidents
An understanding of ethical practice and confidentiality
Good knowledge of ICH-GCP and regulatory standards

This role will also require ability to work with a degree of flexibility as this will include a rotation of shift patterns, covering Monday - Sunday.

However, our client is keen to provide a focus on a working life balance, as such, rotas will be provided inadvance and shift patterns will be in blocks of 5 days or nights (one rotation of nights per month).

Day Shifts will typically be between the hours of either 7:30am-15:30pm or 12:30 - 20:30.
